This study aims at presenting intensity of proper exercise and at helping effective lumbar stabilization exercise program to the women patients of the degenerative disc disease by analysing comparatively the effect having on the muscular strength, low back pain, lumbar flexibility, when carrying out 3D lumbar stabilization exercise, dividing into low-intensity stabilization exercise group(LISEG) and mid-intensity stabilization group(MISEG) depending on its exercise intensity. 3D lumbar stabilization exercise by its intensity have been conducted on them, twice each for 8 weeks, divided into 20 low intensity stabilization exercise group and 16 mid-intensity stabilization exercise group, randomly assigned. Prior to survey, checkup for each patient has been conducted by degree of pain, lumbar flexibility, muscular strength of their lumbar stabilization, and the values have been compared as a result of reexamination in 8 weeks later. Results of the study are as follows; 1) As a result of having conducted 3D lumbar stabilization exercise by its intensity for 8weeks, it has shown that in both groups muscular strength by the lumbar stabilization exercise has been remarkably increased in every angles(p<0.05). In comparing average values of muscular strength of the lumbar stabilization exercise between 2 groups, it has shown that mid-intensity stabilization exercise group has increased in its average muscular strength of lumbar stabilization than that of low intensity group in all 7 angles besides 0 degree, however, there was no remarkable difference(p>0.05). 2) As a result of having conducted 3D lumbar stabilization exercise by its intensity for 8 weeks, it has shown that flexibility of spine has been remarkably increased in all groups(p<0.05). In comparing average flexibility of spine between 2 groups, it has shown that average lumbar flexibility values of mid-intensity stabilization group has more increased, however, there was no remarkable difference(p>0.05). 3) As a result of having conducted 3D lumbar stabilization exercise by its exercise intensity for 8 weeks, it has shown that pain was remarkably decreased in both group(p<0.05). In comparing average values of pain between 2groups, it has shown that mid-intensity stabilization exercise has decreased pain larger, however, there was no remarkable difference(p>0.05).
