Continuous training program about Korean subject is very important for elementary teacher. It has to be used extensively. It has to give development’s experience as elementary Korean teacher. It has to teach about elementary student’s language ability, character and culture.
I researched elementary Korean subject’s training programs by the teacher training institute. As a result, training theme and deliverty are requested to be various for example cyber-education. Training to be used and extended easily are prefered for example reading or discussion teaching technic.
So I suggeted four direction of elementary Korean subject’s training program. First, we need to develop extensive training with other areas. Second, we need to develop reflective training about teacher’s instruction pattern and language. Third, we need to guide teacher’s spontaneous participation. Fourth, we need to reinforce program about student’s language ability and culture.
