The purpose of this tesearch is to investigate kindergarten teachers' image of Eco Early childhood Education through the Q-Method. 40 Participants from various background of teaching experiences, type of kindergarten and academic factors in Pusan and Ulsan were eventually took part in this research and we tried to understand and analyze the image from the teachers' subjective perspective. As a result, the types of teachers' image of Eco-Early Childhood Education are divided into 4 categories: negative-practice centered types, exploring-intrinsic principle centered types, reserved-practice centered types and practical-intrinsic principle centered types. As a result, although the more or less difference among each type was found according to the statistics of population variables, generally, kindergarten teachers had a tendency to perceive Eco-Early Childhood Education as a program or just nature-friendly activities. However, most of teachers were mostly lack of eco-based knowledge and idea. Therefore it is urgently required to change teachers' rather narrow awareness of Eco-ECE and attitude and to meet teachers' need through teachers training and teacher education.
