The beauty services industry which plays a role as a means of expressing the beauty of the human body and individuality is now adopting NCS(National Competency Standards) with many changes including systematic education qualification system so that many researchers have been conducting various studies related NCS in the beauty services industry.
The purpose of this study is to analyze research trends by collecting and analyzing researches related to NCS in the beauty services industry. The researches were collected from the Korean studies Information Service System, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information, the Korea Education and Research Information Service. Among the 47,116 data extracted from the research results, 76 data suitable for this study were selected for the final analysis. Through this study, we will identify the various paradigms shift and academic trends in the beauty services industry to utilize them as the basic data to suggest the way of human resource training suitable for the industry and the direction for the development of the beauty services industry.
