In this paper, Among the students` problems, I focused on school violence. Through tiger folktale, the principles of violence were revealed. In the folktale, the tiger represents violence.
In Chapter 2, through 〈Red-bean Soup Grandma〉, we can find that the violence epic of the perpetrator appears as the `principlizing of desire`, and that the victim`s violence epic appears as the principlizing of the opponent`s desire. Also, the violence epic of the bystander can be regarded as the principlizing of stronger one`s desire among three agents.
In Chapter 3, we conducted the literary therapy program for three agents with nine folktales above. This program featured six curriculum steps: `Appreciation and character assessments through reading and telling folktales`,`Intensifying appreciation with discussing how the agents felt about folktales`, `Writing a new stories`, and `Releasing their new stories.` Through these steps, we conducted a folktale creation therapy for the three agent groups.
We analyzed the students` reaction to the 〈Red-bean Soup Grandma〉. Through this incident, we captured the principle of becoming a bystander in violence. Students tried to avoid involvement in the school violence. The principle of students becoming bystanders is because of fear.
