The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of an environmental science exploration program as an environmental learning on environmental literacy and scientific attitudes of 5th grade students at elementary school. The results of this study are as follows: Firstly, the environmental science exploration program produced significant differences between the experimental group and the comparison one in the environmental literacy. In the cognitive domain, activities like exploration, research, and so on had positive effect on the knowledge category of environmental issues in the process of the program. In addition, the program saw statistical differences on environmental attitude․values and sensibilities, which were subcategories of the affective domain. Among the subcategories of the behavioral domain, positively affected were categories of persuasion․encouragement, practice related to the environmental problems and environmental function that enhance active involvement and practice of environmental problems. Secondly, the environmental science exploration program didn’t bring meaningful differences to the scientific attitude.
