The purpose of this study is to develop the learner's self󰠏directed learning method, inducing the learner’s metacognition and learning motivation through self󰠏control and self󰠏regulation. Through the consideration of pros and cons of learner's self󰠏directed learning and two󰠏way reflection between instructor and learner, the instructor could identify the following as a problem of learner's self󰠏directed learning. There were a lot of students with poor quality inquiries and reflection journals. Therefore, active improvement measures should be taken. In team󰠏based learning, students were given the opportunity to apply activities to actual situations by presenting assignments. In particular, students who wished to work abroad in Japan as a tour guide or tourism󰠏related jobs were given a presentation based on the contents that they could use in real situations, which helped to induce interest and future employment activities. However, it is difficult to develop a fair evaluation item. The assessment should be divided into individual achievements and group achievements. A reasonable assessment should be made of how much expertise you have gained in your field and how well you have improved your problem󰠏solving skills. Instructors should strive to develop a variety of questions that can identify changes in thinking and acquisition of knowledge before and after learning. Complementing these problems will maximize the effect of the 「Japanese for the Tourism industry」 class.
