The core strategy of the broadcasting program production method is to find a way to secure fixed viewers. Besides, in the production of broadcast programs to secure fixed viewers, the strategy for selecting materials and developing a stabilized format serves as an important factor in competing with audience rating as collateral. As a result, the expandability of the entertainment program combined with the expression method of reality maintains the viewer’s high response and stable viewing rate as a result of the intertextuality of the observation entertainment program.
The observational entertainment program is a hybrid of two types: documentary observation and entertainment. In particular, the reality format and the composition of entertainment that emphasize field and reality develop mutual textuality. The interactive text interaction of the observational entertainment program elicits viewers’ behavioral thinking and elicits various emotional responses.
It is analyzed that it stimulates viewers’ emotional participation and identification through the provision of an observer’s point of view that emphasizes the form and reality of the documentary entertainment program’s observational entertainment program. The expression method that emphasizes the central reality aroused the positive response and reaction of the viewer. Although the intentional environment of the production team for the fishing competition was created, the appearance of the scene expressed during the competition is analyzed to lead the ‘field of experience’ through the emotional participation of viewers.
