As the more develope economy, the more increase a portion of the service industry, Korea is also gradually changing shape of the developed countries. Especially hotel employees always have to stand at the information desk with a bright smile and must move quickly to satisfy customers’ requests. The emotional labor which hotel employees experience at hotel is effect on physical heath as well as job stress, job dissatisfaction and turn over. moreover, hotel can have negative effects on hotel development. so need to find a way to reduce the emotional labour to increase customers’ satisfaction ultimately. However, most of the researches were fucus on results of emotional labours, so needs to research on basic causes and solutions of hotel employees’ emotional labours. Therefore, this study will finds out how the emotional labour of hotel employees is effect on job stress and turnover.
This study is based on theoretical method of study and positive method of study through survey. First, this study was limited to employees who works at hotel in Seoul, Second, future study needs to research on employees who feel emotional labour in other fields. Therefore, future study needs to research on employees who experience emotional labour working in Korea regardless of job fields. and needs to analyse the effects of emotional labour on job stress and turnover.
