The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of director’s coaching leadership, childcare center teachers’ burnout, and childcare efficacy on teacher-child interaction. Data were collected from 359 childcare center teachers and analyzed using Pearson’s correlation and the structural equational modeling. The results are as follows; First, director’s coaching leadership and teacher’s childcare efficacy were found to have a direct effect on teacher-child interaction. Second, director’s coaching leadership was found to have an indirect effect on teacher-child interaction through teacher’s burnout and childcare efficacy. Third, teacher’s burnout was found to have an indirect effect on teacher-child interaction through teacher’s childcare efficacy. Additionally, teachers’ childcare efficacy was found to be the most important variable predicting teacher-child interaction. These interventions for improving the childcare efficacy, director’s coaching leadership, and decreasing the burnout of child care teachers could help teacher-child interaction.
