This paper begins with the awareness of the problem situation, this theory does not equate to the difference in the multicultural and intercultural discourse and practice are hardly questioned in Korea society. In this regard, it is necessary to ask how mutual cultural education constitutes the difference that makes itself a starting point and how it is conceptualized it? Therefore, this paper aims to emphasize the close relationship between difference and power by examining the inner contradiction of universal value, the recognition of difference, from the point of view of representation and identity, and post – feminism, Even the intercultural education approach to dynamically grasp the concept considers the aspects of social inequality that can result from the use of categories closely related to power and continually reviews their responses to categories that distinguish individuals continue it should be reviewed. Through intercultural education needs to recognize that is located in an area of tension that reveal differences inevitably look categorize the differences and regulations. In conclusion, this paper aims to show that the subversive possibilities of critical intercultural education can be found in the continuing redefinition of the dominant discourse without abandoning the universal value pursued by the existing intercultural education.
