The purpose of this article is to suggest cooperative governance of related institutions to support the enhancement of the efficiency of the overseas dispatch of Korean language teachers. To this end, recruitment notices for dispatched teachers of government-affiliated institutions and requirements of educational institutions in the dispatch recipient countries were comparatively analyzed and the subsequent implications were presented. In addition, by analyzing the current status of Korean language teaching institutions in Uzbekistan, where there is a high demand for Korean teachers, the selection and utilization of ‘local base institution’ was presented as a necessary measure for the efficient operation of teacher resources in the local country. Finally, it was suggested that it is necessary to provide useful information at the government level and to operate a common teacher training curriculum for overseas Korean teaching position applicants through the ‘Teacher Training Center Platform’ in which all domestic institutions participate with their own specialties in related fields.
