미래사회에는 많은 분야에서 인간이 인공지능과 협업을 하게 될 것이다. 정부에서는 인공지능 강국으로 발돋움하기 위한 국가 발전전략을 수립하고 인공지능교육을 준비하고 있다. 그렇지만 인공지능을 초등 교육 현장에 적용한 사례는 아직 부족하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 인공지능을 이용한 초등학교 수학 수업 프로그램 개발 및 적용 사례를 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구는 2015 개정 교육과정 초등 5학년 수학교육과 인공지능 교육을 연계함으로써 초등 교육 현장에서 바로 적용할 수 있는 수업 사례를 제시하는 데 의의가 있다.
