Affected by low birthrate and rapid aging speed of Korea, retention of workforce has been a serious social concern. In particular, it is necessary to discuss how to re-employ career-interrupted women and how to keep them engaged in economic activity at the national level. Although numerous research have been conducted to examine factors related to career-interrupted women's re-employment, retention of their job after re-employment has been rarely explored. To fill this gap, this study attempt to investigate job satisfaction of re-employed women who had previous career breaks because job satisfaction is critical for their continuous job retention. The factors influecning job satisfaction of re-employed women were pursued considering moderating effect of vocational education and training that they received during job search process.‘Re-employment Satisfaction and Factors Survey of Women with Career Interruptions in Seoul (2019)' conducted by Korean Women’s Development Institute was used for data analysis. As a result, spouse's domestic labor and family care, the similarity between the past and the current job, and individual's average monthly income had statistically significant effects on the job satisfaction of career-interrupted women after re-employment. However, vocational education and training did not have a statistically significant effect as a moderating effect on the job satisfaction of career interrupted women after re-employment.
