Report Errors
This study suggests financial indexes for personal finance, based on a survey for Korea financial planners (FP). Financial indexes used here comprise those of financial ratio and retirement planning that have been theoretically and practically proved in personal finance area. The target of survey is focused on 189 FP of banks, security companies, insurance companies and general agencies, leading to stricter financial indexes than those of previous studies. Each resulting index is as follows: the expense ratio for average income is 60%; the ratio for preparing risk comparing average income is 12%; the saving ratio for average income is 30%; the cash current ratio for average income is 4 times; the debt redemption ratio per month comparing average income is 20%; the total dept ratio comparing total asset is 50%; the total debt ratio comparing current asset is 4∼5 times, the real estate ratio for total asset is 60%; the investment ratio for total asset is 20∼25%. The retirement indexes are indicating that the monthly living expense is 2,800 thousand won, the cost of living ratio is 70%, and the saving ratio per month is 22%. It also suggests that the total cost of the retirement is 880 million won and starting age of preparing for the retirement is early 30"s.
