His research of 194 physical education teachers in Tae jon, using the value orientation inventory developed by Ennis and Hooper (1988), analyzed the value orientation according to sex, school level, and teaching experience. 1. The present physical education teachers thought learning process and ecological integration was the most important value orientation, and thought of Value Orientation on the basis of the order $quot;(1) learning process, (2) self-actualization, (3) social reconstruction$quot;. 2. The result of value orientation in sex showed learning process the highest value orientation in male teachers, and ecological integration in female teachers(p$lt;.05). The social reconstruction was the lowest in both male and female teachers. There were no differences in self-actualization, learning process and social reconstruction between male and female teachers. 3. The results of value orientation in school level value showed that private middle and high school teachers thought ecological integration the most important. On the contrary, public middle school teachers thought learning process was the most important. The results which analyzed an independent group in social reconstruction and ecological integration value orientation one way `ANOVA` showed that there were differences in social reconstruction value orientation between the private middle school teachers and high school teachers, and the results also showed differences in ecological integration between the public middle and high school teachers and the private high school teachers,(p$lt;.05) but there were little differences between the public or private middle school teachers and the public or private high school teachers. 4. The results of value orientation in career showed that veteran teachers thought learning process was the most important value orientation, and newly teachers and experienced teachers thought ecological integration was the most important value orientation. They all thought of value orientation in order :(1) learning process, (2)self-actualization, (3) social reconstruction. On the basis of this research, the results show that male physical education teachers thought learning process was the most important, but female physical education teachers thought ecological integration was the most important. In the case of the private high school, the teachers thought that ecological integration was the most important, and all physical education teachers thought that social reconstruction was the lowest value orientation.
