Report Errors
In Korea, there is no rule on customs clearance management of Improvised Explosive Device(IED) manufacturable chemicals. In 2018, on host the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, terror threat of IED is increasing in Korea. Therefore, tightening clearance management system of IED manufacturable chemicals is needed.
This paper discusses effective clearance management plan through the comparative analysis of clearance management systems on IED manufacturable chemicals between Korea and overseas countries. Then, this study suggests four solutions for effective clearance management plan of IED manufacturable chemicals. Additionally, improvement of regulations through cooperative work with the Department of the Environment is necessary.
