The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship among the social support, teacher efficacy and job satisfaction of private kindergarten teachers. For this purpose, the questionnaires of 136 kindergarten teachers in private kindergartens in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas were collected and analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 7.0 program. First, there was a statistically significant positive correlation among social support, teacher efficacy, and job satisfaction. Second, the fit of the hypothetical path model showed that the research model was statistically appropriate, and all the paths were statistically significant. In other words, the partial mediation effect of teacher efficacy was confirmed in the relationship between social support and job satisfaction. Based on the above results, we discussed ways to enhance the job satisfaction of private kindergarten teachers by providing social support and boosting teacher efficacy.
