The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of action learning classes on science teaching efficacy and science teaching attitude of prospective child care teachers. The subjects of this study were 41 students who hoped for a prospective child care teacher in the B Department at D University in Busan. The research design consisted of a single group pretest-posttest design. The collected data were averaged and standardized, and the corresponding conducted with a corresponding sample t-test.
The results of this study are as follows. First, the teaching of action learning is effective in improving pre-service teachers’ science teaching efficacy. Second, the action learning teaching class has the effect of enhancing the attitudes about direct manipulation activities, attitudes toward preparation for science activities, and attitudes related to fitness for science teaching time of prospective child care teacher’s.
