The purpose of this study is to search for the practical meaning of the child care with respect for young children’s rights recognized by child care teachers. For this, a survey and in-depth interviews were conducted on child care teachers from G city in Jeonbuk province, using sequential QUAN-QUAL analysis. As a result, the child care teachers involved in the non-child care situation, and as characteristics of the job conditions of child care center, showed negative perception towards parent"s criticism, simultaneous problematic behavior guidance, personal reasons, and respect for young children throughout the day when faced unfair demands and negligence under the relationship with the director. On the other hand, the child care teachers with respectable annual leaves and off-days on Saturdays showed low negative perception towards respecting early childhood rights. In addition, the teachers were experiencing conflicts when accepting and respecting the individual needs of young children in the process of following daily rules and orders. For more meaningful respected care of the young children’s rights in the future, detailed educational action based on understanding of the concept of young children’s rights is required. In addition, this study recommends to have an improved and stable working environment, where the child care teachers’ rights can be respected.
