This study purposed to analyze how the sub‐factors of job satisfaction, which are pay, career, work environment, facility, and job itself, influence happiness in life rehabilitation teachers working at residential facilities for people with disabilities, and to examine the mediating effect of peer support on the influence relationship. This study utilized SPSS 22.0 for research analysis, and conducted hierarchical linear regression according to the method proposed by Baron & Kenny to analyze mediating effects. According to the results of this study, first, in Model 1 for the influence relationship between life rehabilitation teachers’ job satisfaction and peer support, only satisfaction with job itself showed a positive correlation with peer support. Second, in Model 2 for the influence relationship between job satisfaction and happiness, satisfaction with pay and job itself showed a positive effect on happiness, and satisfaction with job itself had a higher effect than that with pay. This suggests that happiness is higher when satisfaction with pay and job itself is high and particularly satisfaction with job itself is. Third, in Model 3, peer support was found to have a partial mediating effect on the influence relationship between job satisfaction and happiness. This means that not only job satisfaction but also peer support is important for enhancing life rehabilitation teachers’ happiness.
