In order to foster future talents who aim to cultivate creativity and convergent thinking skills, education is also promoting many changes in teaching and learning methods such as STEAM education and competency-oriented education. In order to meet this changed direction of education, the need for research and program development related to creativity and convergence education is constantly being urged. In order to develop the program presented in this paper, a theoretical review of creativity and convergence education, which are the core of the study, was conducted, and based on this content, the 'creative music thinking technique' and sub-elements for program composition were selected. The learning stage for executing the selected content elements was constructed and the detailed contents of the program were determined accordingly. Creative and convergence programs centered on music subjects were organized into 13 sessions so that they could be operated for a semester. The contents of the program are generally examined for music works in which Korean language is fused and understand how Korean and music are fused. Based on the understood contents, designing and playing the final musical work using various learning elements accumulated by creating and playing musical works was selected as the content of the activity. For the learning effect, the contents of the class expanded from small to large, and from a narrow area to a wide area. Through this study, we recognize the need for research on creativity and convergence education centered on music subjects, and we hope that it will help the music subject become a discipline that contributes as a starter to the new trend of education.
