The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of insulin resistance after 12weeks combined exercise training program. Subjects were consisted of 14 obese middle-aged women(control group 7, combined exercise group 7). The combined exercise program was composed of stretching, aerobic exercise and elastic band exercise, performed 90min, 3 times per week for 12 weeks. As a result, combined exercise group was significantly decreased in insulin, glucose and HOMA index(p<.01). In conclusion, these result suggested that regular combined exercise program were effective in insulin resistance for obese middle-aged women.
