Too many mistakes have been made in the christian history in attempting to be a sponsor of the world and God at the same time, and in this process, the church has lost its unique distinctive character. It is to remind that justice of God should be the defining identity against all others, such as nationalism, ethnicity, race, class, ideology, and the rest, in expressing God's kingdom and the mission of God on the earth and exploring new possibilities of creating human community. This essay illustrates the Rwandan Crisis in 1994 as a potential danger of all church and demonstrates how trivial and inconsequential Christian identity can be when multiple loyalties are involved within the church.
