The purpose of this study is to provide a positive data to examine the relations among participation in the dancing activity and quality of life among aged women. It analyzed the difference in quality of life by the subjects' demographic variables, quality of life between regularly participation in the dancing activity group and non-activity group. Those were sampled for the study that 300 women, aged 65 to 75, participating in Seoul. For the data analysis the Windows SPSS 10.0 was used. The frequencies, t-test, were processed and Scheffe for the after-verification. The quality of life by the demographic variables, Comparing participation in the dancing activity group with non-activity group in quality of life, participation in the dancing activity group were higher than the non-activity in physical factors(p<.001). participation in the dancing activity group were higher than non-activity group in emotional factors(p<.05). participation in the dancing activity group were higher than non-activity group in social factors(p<.05). It was found that regular participation in the dancing activity delayed aging and enhance potential quality of life.
