The purpose of the study was to find out the effect on the change in blood lipid hemoglobin, live function enzyme of combined exercise(walking and resistance exercise) of the older women during 12 weeks.
To carry out the study, 12 older women(average age : 72.10±4.80) composed of the volunteers residing in the silver town in the area of B metropolitan city who agree with this study was passed PAR-Q in screen test and exercise group(n=6) and control group(n=6) selected randomly among people who didn't take part in any exercise program were operated in combined program twice a week during 12 weeks. The combined exercise was consist of walking, dumbbell and elastic band with the intensity of RPE 11-13(65%-80% of HRmax) and 65%-80% of IRM for 60 minute in a time by twice a week.
The conclusions obtained were as follows;
In the change of serum lipid, TC was increased a little bit in exercise group and decreased in control statistically significantly in both group. HDL-C was not significant in pre/post and between groups. TG was decreased significantly in exercise and control group and in between group.
In the change of hemoglobin, Hb was decreased significantly in exercise and control group and was not significant between groups.
In the change of liver function enzyme, GPT and GOT was not significant in pre/post and between group. γ-GTP was exceeded normal range in exercise group and not significantly in pre/post but increased significantly in control group and in between groups.
As description above combined exercise programs during 12 weeks was worked significantly in the older women's serum lipid and hemoglobin, but liver function enzyme was not significant.
