In the era of emotional excess, Lee Seung-Woo's "Boosting of the Heart" (2021)secures the empathy of the times in that it contains not only the inner shape of the work but also the emotional changes of contemporaries. In the era without events, it captures the landscape of modern people's emotional surplus in which the mind creates events. He is raising the "boosting power" of the "heart" of our time through the realization of the sublime of the emotion of "love." Love is an emotion that not only frequently contradicts but also causes surplus. All the characters in the work stare at themselves with the surplus of the emotion of love. As a result, the second son realized the aesthetics of shame through internal reflection, not a projection of feelings toward the outside like jealousy, and the mother, along with the second son, tolerates the existing love in the absence of the eldest son. In the era of emotional surplus, surplus emotions are not obsessed with objects, but projected from oneself to realize the noble value that brotherly love and parental love can have.
