The modern science, the very matrix of today's information society has its foundation in the dualism thought which excludes supernatural knowledge since Descartes showed up Such development of science has caused the problems of dehumanization like man's estrangement from the God, the origin of existence, and led to a false logic that only practical and physical knowledge can be scientific. In addition, the thinking way of dualism which separates subject from object has resulted in separating faith from reason, and religious knowledge from secular knowledge Thus, partial and fragmented knowledge could not be related to the whole area of different knowledges, though It has been profoundly researched in Its individual field, This paper aims to reveal that the partial and fragmented knowledge in the information age is essentially the product of dualism thought, and to try to find an alternative from Comenius' educational thought in order to solve the problems. First, the Christian education in the information age should start from re-finding the God, the origin of existence. The knowledge of our age which causes man to think himself powerful and as an absolute ruler over the nature should be substituted for chresis which helps man recognize himself as a fragile creature by the God, and return all the glory to the God by knowing the origin and goals of all things. The partial and fragmented thought structure which has hardly reciprocal harmony in relation to the whole knowledge in the information age, should be based on Comenius' concept of "Pan", and converted to a whole thought structure in relation with the God. This article adopts Comenius' concept of "Pan" as an educational concept for achieving such mutually related and whole thought. Comenius' educational thought reveals that the educational engmeeting emphasized in the age of information is means to let human being recover the God's image, but never an end itself. From the same viewpoint, Christian education should be focused on finding the God, the source of wisdom, and rebuilding humanity complying to the God's image, rather than producing efficient helpers in the given 내챠al system and structure.
