The purpose of this study was to investigate the difficulties in the practice of play-centered curriculum and the needs for on-site support of 10 early childhood teachers. As a results, the difficulties in practice of play centered curriculum that the early childhood teachers experienced in the classroom were 'the ambiguity and anxiety of play, play-centered curriculum', 'play and learning, beautiful harmony but difficult task. Based on these difficulties, it was found that the early childhood teachers needed on-site support in terms of policy, social, administrative, and self-help. The results of this study may help others understand the difficulties and the needs that early childhood teachers had when they implement play-centered curriculum. In addition, this study provide a basis for revising the play-centered curriculum and finding ways to support teachers.
