The purpose of this study is to design and propose an elementary dance curriculum to present the direction of elementary dance education for improving empathy. To this end, the nature, goals, contents and methods of elementary dance education were specifically presented. In order to proceed with this study, we considered the literature dealing with the theory of elementary dance education and empathy, while conducting a Delphi survey on dance experts to form the direction of elementary dance education. The results of this study are the curriculum of primary dance education to greatly enhance empathy. First of all, if you look at the direction of elementary dance education to improve empathy derived from the Delphi survey, it consists largely of personality, goals, content and methods. To this end, the direction of elementary dance education to improve empathy was presented, and classes were designed based on this, enabling the design of classes on site. The results of this study are expected to provide the specific direction, value, purpose and basic data of elementary dance education classes that can be used directly in the physical education curriculum of elementary schools in the future.
