This study examined the job security of reemployed older workers in terms of employment and wage security. To scrutinize the elements of job security, the characteristics of the main job were investigated. Using the dataset from the Korean Labor and Income Panel Study(KLIPS:2015-2020), the Cox proportional hazard model was used to examine the factors of reemployed job duration. In addition, employment status and wages were analyzed using logistic regression. The research subjects were reemployed workers aged between 50 and 65 years in 2015. The findings of this study are as follows. First, the reemployed job duration was significantly affected by job tenure, employment status, and retirement age system of the main job. Second, reemployment status was significantly affected by employment status and job wages of the main job. Third, higher wages and job satisfaction of the main job raised the possibility of obtaining a decent wage level in reemployed on these results, the state dependence of older workers facing re-entry into labor markets was identified. This study has limitations in cross-sectionally analyzing employment status and wages, in which these issues remain as subsequent research topics.
